Defensively, Seattle had a great day, picking off Vikings quarterback Max Brosmer four times, sacking him four times and had a strip sack that was recovered by Seattle. The offense on the other hand didn't have its best game and struggled to get much of anything going against the Vikings' defense until late in the game.

Quarterback Sam Darnold went 14 of 26, for 128 yards and took four sacks that head coach Mike Macdonald said were, "good sacks."

Macdonald clarified, "Thought he made some smart decisions, fast decisions, thought he got away from the rush. I know it sounds weird, but I thought he actually took some good sacks in some of those critical moments, which is good team football and did a great job."
