It’s been a long time since the Steelers used the “F” word to criticize and summarize one of their performances.
But T.J. Watt did after the Steelers found a way to turn a holiday crowd into a nasty, disgusted gathering that even booed “Renegade,” the team’s personal anthem.
“Flat,” Watt said.
He wasn’t getting an argument from any of his teammates, including quarterback Aaron Rodgers, after the Steelers were embarrassed by the Buffalo Bills 26-7 on Sunday at Acrisure Stadium.
“It wasn’t our best week of practice,” said Rodgers, who never looked comfortable playing with a protective wrap on his fractured left wrist. “A lot of it is just the energy of practice, the tempo.”
There was none against the Bills, either.
