GREENE COUNTY, Tennessee — According to NBC affiliate station, WCYB News 5 , a tense standoff unfolded in a Greene County neighborhood Friday morning when a man barricaded himself in the basement of a home on Warrensburg Road and reportedly fired shots. Deputies from the Greene County Sheriff's Office were negotiating with the man's father when more gunfire erupted. Sheriff Wesley Holt said, "During the process, the son started firing a weapon from the basement. We set up a perimeter...brought the SWAT team in."
