CANYON, Texas (KFDA) - The West Texas A&M men’s basketball team has started the season 7-0, with six of those victories coming by double-digit margins.
The Buffs began their season on Halloween and recently completed two wins during the Thanksgiving Classic, scoring over 100 points in both contests.
Through seven games, West Texas A&M leads the Lone Star Conference in several statistical categories. The team averages just under 100 points per game, has made 91 total three-pointers and leads the conference with an average of 13 made three-pointers per game. The Buffs also rank first in free throw percentage at just over 80 percent.
