TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Motorcyclists rode around town Sunday for a good cause.

A.B.A.T.E. of Kansas Dist. 4 hosted its 42nd annual Toys for Tots ride.

“You know, it’s a little chilly feeling, but at the same time, it just warms your heart,” said A.B.A.T.E of Kansas Dist. 4 Representative Brandon Humphreys. “You know you’re doing something bigger than yourself.”

“You can’t fix a child that doesn’t get a toy, that kid’s always going to remember when he didn’t,” said Frank “Santa” Votaw. “If being cold and having a few icicles in my beard, and believe me, I’ve had more than my share, means that a kid’s going to get a toy, it’s all worth it.”

The cold weather didn’t stop the community from coming together to make kids happy this Christmas.
