SALT LAKE CITY — A woman was hit by the northbound TRAX train Saturday night around 8:30 p.m. at the Gallivan TRAX station in Salt Lake City.
According to Gavin Gustafson, UTA’s Public Information Officer , the woman ran across the street before being struck by the train as it was pulling into the station. She was under the train, but was removed from under the vehicle with only minor injuries.
“It was quite miraculous,” Gustafson said.
Officials said they were reviewing the footage to learn more information surrounding the incident.
