In a surprising twist, Paul Doyle has pleaded guilty this week, but what became of the numerous pedestrians whose lives were irrevocably altered on 26 May?

As jubilant football fans assembled for Liverpool's victory parade, Doyle was caught on dashcam footage appearing "increasingly agitated" before he drove his Ford Galaxy through throngs of people gathered on Dale Street and Water Street in the city centre.

Over 100 individuals were injured, including eight children, with some sustaining broken bones and other excruciating injuries as Doyle continued to drive for approximately 50 metres.

The psychological impact has been significant, with one survivor recently sharing his distressing experience with PTSD.
