Rays rumor lands Hall of Famer's grandson as free agent signing
The Tampa Bay Rays usually operate around the fringes.
They don't always get the biggest name free agents. But in a recent rumor, the Rays could wind up with one of the biggest last names in baseball.
MLB.com's Mark Feinsand has suggested that the Rays should try to sign Mike Yastrzemski.
Yastrzemski, of course, is the grandson of Boston Red Sox Hall of Famer Carl Yastrzemski.

This Yastrzemski spent all of his MLB time with the San Francisco Giants until the 2025 trade deadline, when he went to the Kansas City Royals .
He'd be a solid add for the Rays who likely wouldn't cost too much.
