One-Day Event Will Offer Pastries, Breads, and Sweets From Celebrated Chefs, With All Sales Supporting Food-Rescue and Climate Efforts

Bakers from across Los Angeles are teaming up Tuesday for a one-day fundraiser supporting Food Forward , the nonprofit known for rescuing surplus produce and distributing it to communities facing food insecurity. Petitgrain Boulangerie will open its doors for the special event, hosting a large-scale bake sale on December 2.

Food Forward’s “Dine for Change” bake sale will feature pastries, breads, and confections created by more than two dozen local bakers, including Leah Chin-Katz ( @DoubleChin ), Sasha Piligian ( @Sashimi1 ), and Aldis Arriola ( @nourishthesoul.panaderia ).
