Rugby legend Kevin Sinfield will begin his next fundraising mission in Suffolk today in support of an Ipswich Town icon.

Mr Sinfield has earned nationwide admiration for completing seven ultra-marathons in seven days to raise money for people affected by motor neurone disease, inspired by the loss of his former teammate Rob Burrows.

His next challenge, beginning today , will start in Bury St Edmunds and end in Ipswich.

Where will Kevin Sinfield be running today?

Mr Sinfield and his team will start their run at Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club at 8.40am.

Their first stop is St Mary’s Church in Rougham, 7km into the route, where schoolchildren and a choir will greet him. He is expected to set off again at 9.40am, heading to Woolpit Institute.

He will then be welcomed by Stowmarket Running
