Scott McTominay survived an injury scare in Napoli's victory over Roma on Sunday night – before Antonio Conte bit back at claims he'd been 'sacrificed' during the 1-0 win. ‌

The Scotland star was Serie A's player of the year last season and has continued that form into this term as the Naples side sit joint top amid their title defence. Scarcity of numbers has forced him into a deeper role at times this term but he's still chipped in with five goals in 17 appearances and has started all but two of their 18 games. ‌
