Jessie J has compared cancer surgery to an episode of Black Mirror as she candidly opened up about her recent health battle.

The 37-year-old pop star - real name Jessica Cornish - revealed in June she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and subsequently underwent a mastectomy and reconstructive surgery.

Now, the singer has opened up about going under the knife admitting she hates being "put under" with a general anaesthetic because it feels life she's in an episode of the hit Netflix sci-fi show.

Jessie told the Guardian newspaper: "I hate being put under. They walk you down. You know when you have emergency surgery you roll down in a bed, but this time I just strolled down with a gown on and my bum hanging out. You feel like you’re in an episode of Black Mirror ...
