Ipswich Town return to Blackburn Rovers tomorrow night for take two of September's abandoned Championship game - and a yellow weather warning is in place for East Lancashire.

The original match was called off in the 80th minute , due to a heavily waterlogged pitch, when 10-man Town trailed 1-0 to a Todd Cantwell penalty.

The EFL eventually ruled that the game had to be replayed in full. Rovers manager Valerian Ismael called the decision 'a disgrace' , while Blues boss Kieran McKenna insisted it was 'the only possible decision' and ruled out giving the hosts their advantage back for the rematch.

The Met Office has now issued a yellow warning for East Lancashire from midnight last night until 3am on Tuesday, with 20-40 mm of rain predicted to fall.
