Renowned BBC Radio 2 DJ Sara Cox admits that one of her relatives sometimes pretends he doesn't know her. She recently raised more than £11 million for Children in Need by covering 135 miles on foot – effectively running five marathons across five days. But despite her epic achievement, she admits that she's still an embarrassment to her children as her 17-year-old son Isaac often blanks her at the gym.
"I'll give him a lift there and it will be lovely," she told The Times . "Then in the gym if I walk past him he gives me that little look to say, 'Go away.' He knows people there and he doesn't want me going up to him all sweaty." Because of her job presenting Radio 2's Drivetime slot between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM, she's rarely able to make it to parents' evenings at her
