Many people think that because they are not overweight, they are a picture of health. However, a doctor is warning that just because someone is slim, that doesn't guarantee they are free from health risks.
Dr Philip Bazire , a medical weight loss specialist on the healthcare platform Doctify , says some people of "normal" weight could have something wrong with the way their body deals with nutrients.
He said it could mean they have a "metabolically unhealthy normal weight". There are several symptoms which can show the status of someone's metabolic health.
