An Aberdeen city centre bar has officially opened its doors after a major renovation.
The pub, located on Union Street , was previously home to the popular McGinty's bar before it closed its doors in July after 16 years.
It has since been scooped up by the owners of the major north-east pizza business Big Manny's owners, brothers Phil and Ashley Adams and their partner Calum Wright. It was previously confirmed that the venue will be renamed Durty Murphy's Irish Pub.
Over the past few months, the Granite City pub has been undergoing major changes. The interior was fully ripped out and returned to a shell structure as preparations began to fully revamp the bar under its new ownership.
