Aldi has issued an urgent recall for popular Christmas chocolates sold in its stores which could pose a health risk to some shoppers if consumed.

The supermarket is recalling Dairyfine Salted Caramel Filled Gonks as they may contain peanuts, which were not mentioned on the product's label.

As the presence of peanuts has not been declared on the chocolate's label, Aldi is recalling affected batches of Dairyfine Salted Caramel Filled Gonks as they may pose a risk to anyone who is allergic to peanuts and unaware of their presence in the product.
