SALT LAKE CITY — Parts of Utah were dusted with snow Sunday morning, prompting authorities to remind people to drive and recreate safely.

As the snow fell, the National Weather Service Salt Lake City posted to X, encouraging those on the roads to drive safely, citing snowy road conditions.

The Utah Avalanche Center in Logan also posted to X, saying avalanche danger “will rise” to moderate in the backcountry.

In another post to X, Utah Daily Snow reported 0.5 of an inch of snow at Alta-Collins.
