The Vienna Police Department announced a citywide water outage on Monday morning due to a breakdown at the water plant.

The entire town is currently without water service. Authorities said crews are actively working to resolve the issue, but there is no estimated time for when service will be restored.

Once service resumes, a boil order will be in effect for all residents.
