Grizzlies' Zach Edey just put up stats not done in the NBA since Shaq
As a collegiate superstar at Purdue, Zach Edey at times felt unstoppable.
It was never quite clear how that would translate into the modern NBA of pace and space and 3-pointers, though. The Memphis Grizzlies drafted Edey hoping for an effective big man, but the league as a whole was still at least a bit skeptical.
On Sunday, at least for a day, Edey was absolutely unstoppable again.
