A driver who left his friend brain damaged after a TikTok trend went wrong has walked free from court.
Bus driver Connor Pace met up with a fellow car enthusiasts and decided to try out a viral online trend which involves riding on the bonnet of a moving car.
The 23-year-old got behind the wheel of his Seat Leon before one of the group 'voluntarily' climbed onto his bonnet while the vehicle was stationary.
Pace then drove around a car park for about 17 seconds before the victim fell off and hit his head on the ground.
The victim was taken to hospital with a serious head injury and did not regain consciousness for almost a month.
Medics found he suffered a traumatic brain injury requiring multiple surgeries and medical procedures.
