INDIANAPOLIS (WPTA) - Indiana House Republicans released a new map on Monday, outlining their congressional redistricting proposal.
The map draft was posted to the House Republicans’ website on Monday.
Last week, House Speaker Todd Huston announced that House Republicans would convene on Monday for the 2026 regular session to consider business, including the long-discussed redistricting proposal.
The proposal shows a significant change for District 3 in northeast Indiana, putting Noble and Whitley counties in District 2 and Huntington, Wells, and Blackford counties in District 5.
The draft also splits the state’s most populous county, Marion County, into four separate districts. Currently, the majority of Marion County is in District 7.
