A busy year in the state Capitol is winding down — lawmakers likely won't reconvene as a full body until January .
But there's still been plenty of debate over pending bills — especially one that would legalize online sports betting — and new proposals are entering the pipeline.
New bills introduced in November include displaying the state gas tax at the pump and providing grants for religious organizations to enhance security. Other bills have been brought back from previous years.
Many of the following bills are bipartisan, but none have received public hearings. Lawmakers have drafted more than 700 pieces of legislation this year, and only a fraction will end up becoming law.
