NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - The SFA Ladyjacks are going dancing after a 23-7 season and a Southland Conference championship.

This is the ninth time that the Ladyjacks have made the NCAA Tournament and their fifth in the past eight seasons under head coach Debbie Humphreys.

SFA will be in the College Station region, hosted by No. 3 seed Texas A&M. The Ladyjacks will face No. 6 seed TCU in the first round. This will be the first time that SFA and TCU will square off in the NCAA Tournament. The Ladyjacks and Horned Frogs haven’t played each other since 2013, when TCU won 3-1 in Fort Worth.

SFA will play TCU on Friday at 4 p.m. at Reed Arena in College Station. The Ladyjacks are looking to advance to the second round for the first time since 2006.
