Here are a list of Catholic High School League players who stood out to in the MHSAA state finals at Ford Field this last weekend, and an extra one from the Ohio semifinals. Vote in the poll at the end of the post.

Jabin Gonzales, Orchard Lake St. Mary’s

The junior quarterback did it all in a Division 2 state championship game victory over Dexter. Completing 17 of 22 passes for 304 yards and four touchdowns, and rushing for 102 yards on 13 carries.

Marcello Vitti, Dearborn Divine Child

The senior and Iowa commit rushed for 121 yards and 19 carries, and had 14 tackles on defense to help lead the Falcons to a Division 4 state championship win over Hudsonville Unity Christian.

Sean Walicki, Jackson Lumen Christi

Walicki was a force on both sides of the ball in a Division 6 state champio
