After reading the Nov. 28 op-ed, “ Drugs or no, boat strikes violate law ” by Peter Jensen, my reaction is that whether you agree or not with our military tracking down, identifying and subsequently obliterating these speed boats loaded with copious amounts of illegal drugs headed for the U.S. will largely depend on whether you have lost someone you loved to drugs recently. Said victim will most likely be a young American, under 30, just starting out in life, possibly the parent of a baby or toddler.
