The Boston Bruins are getting hit hard by the injury bug, but they just keep on finding ways to win. Thankfully, it seems like reinforcements are on the way, as the team received a positive injury update regarding forward Viktor Arvidsson on Monday morning.
Arvidsson hasn’t taken the ice for the Bruins since Nov. 15, as he suffered a lower-body injury that led to him being placed on injured reserve. Despite that move, the team believed that Arvidsson wouldn’t be out for very long.
Sure enough, Arvidsson has been closing in on a return to action recently. On Monday, he took the ice with the rest of his teammates for Boston’s latest practice, indicating that he could be on track to play against the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday night.
