What does Sauce Gardner's calf injury mean for Jets' future draft position?

Indianapolis Colts cornerback and former New York Jets star Sauce Gardner suffered a calf injury during the team's 20-16 loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday.

While the diagnosis is more positive than initially feared, Gardner is expected to miss several games recovering from the soft-tissue injury.

"Colts star CB Sauce Gardner, who suffered a calf strain in Sunday’s loss, is considered week-to-week with the hope he’s back during the regular season...Not long-term. But he’ll miss some time," wrote NFL insider Ian Rapoport in a post on X.
