BALTIMORE —
Baltimore Center Stage is celebrating the holiday season with "Santa Claus is Comin': A Motown Christmas Revue," a new show running now through Jan. 4 that features a Motown twist on classic Christmas songs.
"We took some of our favorite Christmas songs that were inspired by those classic Christmas covers and albums, so we made different arrangements to some of your favorite Christmas songs," said Ken-Matt Martin, director and choreographer of the show. "It’s a revue, so in the classic sense of the word, it’s an opportunity to just take in music and dancing where it just moves from song to song. There's not a lot of breath between them."
The production showcases a cast with strong Maryland ties, including Melody Betts from Baltimore, who played Evilene in "The Wiz" on Broadw
