Three Oaks Foundation is closing its Belleville thrift store Dec. 19 while opening a new clothing program for clients of its emergency shelter.
Three Oaks Thrift at 385 Front St. opened in 2024 with the goal of offering affordable items while raising awareness of Three Oaks’ services for women and their children recovering from violent situations.

“It became a place where people felt good shopping, donating, volunteering, and supporting one another,” staff wrote in a news release issued Monday. “Women and their children accessing our services were able to shop free of charge, giving families a dignified and empowering shopping experience.
