The A30 in Devon has been shut westbound this evening (December 1) after flooding on the road.
Reports of the flooding from the A35 to Exeter Road came in at around 6:40pm and traffic is said to be queueing as a result.
Roads and traffic monitoring website, Inrix, says: "A30 Westbound closed, queueing traffic due to flooding from the A35 to Exeter Road."
It comes as multiple flood alerts have been issued across Devon today as the county is hit by wave after wave of torrential rain.
Huge amounts of rain have hit the region today and the Met Office has issued a yellow rain warning across the South West until 3am on Tuesday morning (December 2).
