Warning: Spoilers ahead for Stranger Things Season 5, Vol. 1!Stranger Things Season 5 introduces Linda Hamilton as Dr. Kay, the leader of a military installation in the Upside Down. While she adds something new to the Netflix show as it enters its final run of episodes, Hamilton has already played an incredibly similar character in a cult sci-fi show, Resident Alien, which really deserves to be more popular than it is. Her Stranger Things persona allows Hamilton to play the role in a far darker way, but the similarities cannot be ignored either.
