A winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Monday at 12:21 p.m. valid from Tuesday 7 a.m. until Wednesday 1 a.m. for Essex County.
The weather service says to expect, "Total snow accumulations between 3 and 7 inches."
"Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes," states the weather service. "Slow down and use caution while traveling."
