BOISE, Idaho — In Monday's press conference, Boise State head coach Spencer Danielson confirmed that Maddux Madsen is back practicing and plans to start the redshirt junior quarterback in the Mountain West title game against UNLV.
"In regards to any injury updates, Maddux Madsen practiced today, so he feels good and he's ready to roll, so he will be our starting quarterback on Friday," Danielson said on Monday. "Max will be ready to roll as well but Maddux will be the starter."
Max Cutforth, a Skyview high graduate and former walk-on, has started the last three games for the Broncos after Maddux Madsen was injured early in a game against rival Fresno State on Nov. 1.
