KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A little snow caused massive headaches for drivers across the Kansas City region Monday morning.
The snow caused dozens of crashes and caused the closures of at least four area interstates before noon.
At 11:50 a.m. crashes forced emergency crews to close the following areas:
JACKSON COUNTY
I-70
WB lanes closed a Jackson Ave.
WB lanes closed near The Paseo
I-670
WB lanes closed past I-70
I-35
NB lanes closed past Penn Valley Dr.
71 Hwy
US-71 SB closed before Bannister Rd.
SALINE COUNTY
Entire closure near US-65 at Sedalia
Delays of more than an hour and backup is almost to Grain Valley
Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers responded to multiple crashes on I-70 and US-65 near Sedalia.
