Strictly Come Dancing contestant Alex Kingston has revealed the heart-warming gesture made by her husband after she became the eighth celebrity to leave the competition.

On Saturday night, November 29, Alex and professional dance partner Johannes Radebe performed a Cha Cha Cha to Anita Ward’s 1979 hit Ring My Bell and scored 23 points, after the judges - and Alex herself - noted a number of mistakes.

They became the eighth couple to leave after being eliminated during Sunday night's results show (November 30). But appearing on Strictly - It Takes Two on Monday night (December 1), Alex became teary when talking about a heart-warming gesture made by her husband, TV producer Jonathan Stamp.
