SOUTHLAKE, Texas — A Southlake police officer was placed on administrative leave after being arrested on family violence charges, officials say.
Southlake police officer Garrett Lisle was arrested by the Kennedale Police Department Nov. 24 while off duty and charged with continuous violence against the family, according to a news release.
The Southlake Police Department has started an administrative investigation and Lisle was placed on administrative leave, pending the outcome of the investigation, the news release stated.
"The Police Department maintains high standards and expectations for all who serve within it, and we will conduct a comprehensive review of the facts and circumstances surrounding these allegations," the Southlake Police Department said in a statement.
