The Bruins will still be without David Pastrnak for a little while longer.
The star forward missed Boston’s last two games and won’t travel to Detroit for Tuesday’s game against the Red Wings, coach Marco Sturm told reporters on Monday.
Pastrnak remains day-to-day.
“We were hoping he could skate by now, but he didn’t,” Sturm said . “We’ll see how he is the next few days.”
It’s unclear the exact ailment Pastrnak is dealing with and whether he’ll be healthy enough to play Thursday when the Bruins return home to host the St. Louis Blues.
Viktor Arvidsson, who’s been on injured reserve with a lower-body injury , is expected to return to the lineup Tuesday.
