OTTAWA — Last week’s high-profile cabinet resignation prompted Prime Minister Mark Carney to shuffle his cabinet.

In a Monday afternoon ceremony at Rideau Hall, Montreal-area MP Marc Miller replaces Steven Guilbeault as Minister of Canadian Identity and Culture, and Minister responsible for official languages.

This marks Miller’s return to cabinet after being replaced as Immigration Minister by Lena Metlege Diab in May.

Toronto-Danforth MP Julie Dabrusin remains Minister of Environment and Climate Change, but adds Nature to her portfolio, putting her in charge of Canada’s national parks.
