[WATERLOO, Iowa] — A new children's book is celebrating the legacy of Waterloo's Tyler Greene, highlighting his advocacy for people of all abilities.
The book, inspired by Tyler's video "I'm Tyler. Don't be surprised," is said to be "really for all practical purposes written by Tyler," according to his father, Paul Greene.
Tyler, who lived with cerebral palsy, inspired many by participating in activities like karate and skiing. His video continues to play in schools, promoting acceptance and understanding.
Paul Greene emphasized the book's message, saying, "Each of the books will carry a message important to Tyler about accepting others, about being kind to others, about including others in different situations that come up in the lives of kids and families."
