On Saturday morning, Shoppers Drug Mart officially opened its Pharmacy Care Clinic, which has been up and running in north-end Brockville for about a month.
Present for the special occasion were Parkedale Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacist owner Adam Doyle; vice-president of operations, Ontario East, Craig Nisbet, and Jennifer Haupt, district manager for Ontario East.
Located within the Shoppers Drug Mart store at the 1000 Islands Mall, the clinic is fully integrated with the pharmacy, which has been redesigned to accommodate it.
“These clinics empower pharmacists to deliver this convenient and accessible care, thereby helping to alleviate pressure on the broader health-care system,” said officials with Shoppers.
