Lives look set to be hanging in the balance as Coronation Street and Emmerdale join forces for a dramatic episode of soap action in a matter of weeks.
The ITV soaps will be kicking of 2026 in jaw-dropping style with Corriedale, a standalone episode that will see two worlds collide - and one night changes everything.
The standalone episode will see the residents of Weatherfield join forces with the villagers in the Dales in an action-packed hour of drama which has been commissioned to herald the start of ITV's new soap power hour schedule, which will see both of the show's air in half an hour instalments every week night on ITV, while still being available from 7am on ITVX and YouTube.
