Duck Donuts in Cumberland County is closing.
The chain announced the shop at 6230 Carlisle Pike in Hampden Township will turn off its ovens effective Dec. 14.
“This decision comes as we officially transitioned ownership of the Hershey Duck Donuts shop, which will become our new corporate location,” the chain said in a Facebook post.
The Hershey location operates at 261 W. Chocolate Ave.
“We are incredibly grateful for the loyal guests, families, and community members who supported our Mechanicsburg shop. Thank you for being part of our story,” continued the message.
“Thank you for your support, your visits, and your love for warm, delicious donuts. See you in Hershey!”
Duck Donuts was founded by Russ DiGilio, a Cumberland County resident who opened the first shops in Duck and Kitt
