WASHINGTON - First lady Melania Trump unveiled the 2025 White House Christmas decorations Monday and presented a theme she called “Home Is Where the Heart Is.” The display highlights patriotism, gratitude and family traditions and celebrates America’s 250th anniversary.

The Blue Room centerpiece features an 18.5-foot concolor fir tree from Michigan, dedicated to Gold Star families who lost loved ones in military service. Traditionally housed in the East Wing, the tree was relocated this year due to renovations.

There are 51 Christmas trees in the display, as well as Lego portraits of George Washington and President Donald Trump . The State Dining Room showcases a gingerbread replica of the White House, which was crafted from 120 pounds of gingerbread.
