MARSHALL - Residents appeared before the town board to encourage Marshall to do away with its proposal to explore restricting non-motorized vehicles downtown.

According to Town Administrator Ryan Cody, Police Chief Kenny Brown said he heard from a few residents who were concerned about minors riding skateboards, bicycles and other non-motorized vehicles in downtown, citing cars' high speeds through downtown and the increased traffic since town has opened back up after Tropical Storm Helene.
