A young man sustained serious head injuries after a hit-and-run in Warwickshire . It happened in Ullenhall.

Police said that at around 3am on November 9, a passer-by reported a 20-year-old man lying in Ullenhall Lane, Further Hill Grange. Officers found that the man had been struck by a car and suffered head injuries.

He was unable to provide a clear account of what happened. Detectives are pursuing multiple lines of inquiry and have appealed for CCTV.

A spokesman for Warwickshire Police said: “We are asking for anyone who saw a collision between the driver of a car and a pedestrian in the Ullenhall area to get in touch with us. At around 3am on Sunday, November 9, a passer-by called us to report seeing a 20-year-old man lying in Ullenhall Lane.
