Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) shut down Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth in a speech on Monday, calling out Trump's blatant threats, and stating unequivocally that he will not be intimidated for following the constitution and telling the truth.

Kelly – an astronaut, and former Navy pilot and decorated Desert Storm combat veteran – said he will not back down after the president threatened he and five other Democratic senators with execution for delivering a video message reminding U.S. military service members of their constitutional obligation to refuse to follow illegal orders.

Trump called Kelly's message "sedition," and Hegseth was reportedly considering reinstating Kelly to active duty in the Navy just so he could be court-martialed over the video.
