DECEMBER 3-6 Stars set to shine in annual ‘Good Guys vs Cancer’ Basketball Showcase at FFHS

Technically speaking, this year’s Good Guys vs. Cancer Basketball Showcase won’t be bigger than last year. The 2024 tournament boasted 24 games in four days, and this year, it’s back down to 22, with “only” four games on Friday instead of six.

Then again, for the first time ever, a team from Texas with an outsized social media star is making the trip to the Outer Banks, and you know what they say – “Everything’s bigger in Texas.”

“The drive is simply to try and raise more awareness for cancer treatment and to be able to send more money to the American Cancer Society. That’s the sole goal that I have for this,” First Flight High School (FFFHS) men’s basketball
