MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Police responded to dozens of spinouts and minor crashes Tuesday as the first statewide snowstorm pushed through the state.
Snow moving throughout the state is blanketing roadways, creating slick conditions that have led to some issues on the roads. The snow is expected to continue through the late evening before tapering off around midnight.

The blowing snow is also leading to reduced visibility for drivers.
"If you don't have to drive and you can stay home during this storm through the evening, we'd recommend that," state police Capt. Stephen Sloper said. "If you do have to commute anywhere, we just ask you to watch your speed and create a good distance between the vehicle in front of you."
