A man has been charged with trafficking after officers found $4,000 worth of drugs on a passed out person, Sarnia police say.
A man has been charged with fentanyl trafficking after officers found $4,000 worth of drugs on a person who had passed out in a local fast food restaurant washroom, Sarnia police say.
A man went into the bathroom at an eatery on Christina Street on Monday some time before 2 p.m. and didn’t come out or respond to repeated door knocking by staff, police said. Officers knocked again, but then, used a key to get inside and check on the person’s wellbeing.

“Upon opening the door, a male was observed lying face down on the floor,” police said in a statement issued on Tuesday.
